Duplicate Instrument missing Midi

I have in session view an instrument rack with 4 instruments and midi mapped a bunch of parameters incl. macros. Now if i duplicate this midi channel all midi mappings in this for these instruments gone. How can i solve this problem in order to prevent to be forced to repeat this more or less complex midi mapping? Would be happy if there is a better way.
