Bad Audio Quality In Sampler vs Good Quality In Simpler

Post by beatflux » Sun Nov 18, 2018 10:09 pm

Putting a sample into Sampler(with an "A") seems to degrade the overall quality of a sample, making it sound like a lower quality MP3 version of itself.

However, putting a sample into Simpler's one shot mode sound much better, as if the sample was just put in an audio channel. Just converting a Simpler into a Sampler via the context menu changes the audio quality.

Is there anyway to get the same quality in Sampler as you can in Simpler?

- When converting Simpler to Sampler, do you have the Loop option switched on?
- In Sampler you can try various interpolation quality.
