Looper : automate "clear"

I'd love to be able to automate the "clear" parameter. For now I need to put loopers in racks and select a new one when needed.

Yea, this should be able to be done but it appears it is not. Automating the "clear" function on Ableton Looper would be super helpful. How do we get them to consider this?

when the looper's stopped, press and hold the looper's transport button for two seconds to clear.

edit: oh, you want an automation lane for clear. There's a workaround for that.

midi track out to the IAC driver, remote in to Ableton. Now you can map the MIDI in clips to anything midi mappable.
