How can i copy settings from one sample to other samples in sampler?

Post by musiccomposersg » Sat Feb 23, 2019 7:24 am

Hello, I have just imported a bunch of samples into sampler to create an instrument. I have set the sustain mode to loop on with a loop start and loop end time for the first sample C3. I wish to copy this setting across all the other 28 samples. Is there a shortcut to apply this to all the other 27 samples?

I think the envelopes are global, they work for all loaded samples.

Envelopes are on the global page anyway, but he's not looking for those.

Not much of a shortcut, but this may work for you:

Go to the keymap and delete the 27 other samples. Now duplicate the first. Next to the selected sample name at the bottom there's a hotswap button. Choose the next sample in line. Sample start, end and loop points should be preserved from the original. Fine tune and move the key(s) in the key zone.
Rinse, repeat.

Hi Chrk,

Thank you. Decent suggestion. I'm wondering if there are other shortcuts.
