Sounds Search slow Ableton Live 10

Hello,

I noticed that when I search in Sounds files in Live 10
it's very slow. (15 ~20 seconds to get result)

I'm using a MacBook Pro 2016 16GB of memory
with an external SSD with all samples in it (400MB/s R&W)

I increased the Decode Cache in Settings and notices a little faster response.

But if I search in All result (Command + F) I have a quick response.

Anyone have the same issue, and did someone found how to fix it?

I have the same problem on my 16 inch MacBook Pro. Would love to find out a solution!

I have the exact same problem. Everything searches snappy, Except for the Sounds categori.

Same here on a 16 inch MacBook Pro.

Interestingly enough it's only the 'Sounds' tab for me too, every other tab is snappy including the 'All Results' tab which includes Sounds.

Would love to get a fix on this!

I am experiencing the same issue! Anytime I perform a search in the "Sounds" category, Ableton "freezes" (with the MacOS rainbow spinner showing up) for a few brief seconds before completing the search. And as others have mentioned, everything else searches fine with no lag (including if I search "All results"). I'm on Ableton Live 10 Suite on a MacBook Pro 16, so the issue definitely appears to be on the Ableton side
