Ableton Live 10 disconnecting Avid HD Thunderbolt driver?

Hey

I have been a Live user for many years with several soundcards and never had this problem. Recently i got a Pro Tools system with a Native Thunderbolt and when im working in Live 10, (OSX, High Sierra), it disconnects either randomly or when i perform certain functions (but not all the time), like when i change i/o's on channels or use certain plugins.
Live doesn't crash, the soundcard just disappears from the device menu and the audio engine turns off. This happens with all buffer settings.
It's so frequent to the point it is nearly unusable.

This also doesn't happen with any other driver from 4 different soundcards i have here.

Does this happen to anymore with a TB HD ? Anyone has any idea how to fix this? It's impossible to work like this...

Same issue...unusable. Started happening after I updated my pro tools a year ago. I have the hd native pci

Same problem here on Win10 with HD Native thunderbolt.

No doubt in my mind this has to do with the quality of what divA claims are drivers.

I need Pro Tools to work on projects I receive from my clients, but tbh it's a not all that great. Or "pro".

Same problem here. I have to use apollos instead of PT hd when using Ableton. Its super annoying.

I have the same problem for a while with hd native pci and ableton 11. Does the problem exist with HdX too?
This is really annoying…
