Can some users help me recover system stabilty after Live 5

Post by ikeaboy » Mon Jul 18, 2005 9:50 pm

I don't want to clog the beta forum because there's nothing they can do to help me as the crash file is too large for email.
However if anyone can help me out before I go and erase my hard drive i'll give them a big hug 8O

Basically my graphics have gone mental since a crash with Live 5. I get either frozen screen graphic with audio or a total system crash with a silver screen. i updated my Nvidia graphics card drivers and Bios to no avail.

The Live 5 crash happened whilst moving a clip in a very large (3 gig or so) set that was created in Live 4.

The current system instabilty affects all of my software in an intermitant fashion.
Thanks in advance

P.S consolling coments like "Nah buddy your screwed" also welcome

8O

some say, unplug your laptop and remove the battery for at least 30 minutes in order to let the memory "reset" well... That's like a grand'ma trick which I'm not sure of, though it wouldn't hurt to try (just loss of time....)
Sorry guy, sounds weird !
Cheers,
