just got an e-mail from "management" at acapellas4u....
they sound livid, certain members of their site taking piss.
shame that was a damm good site, and a great rescource. hope the can get back into the swing again soon.

here's the e-mail in full...
"Sad news I'm afraid but the managment are finding it extremely hard going and very wearing at the minute just dealing with the persistent crap and lame attitude that too many members to mention have towards the site.
We've reached rock-bottom, and we're fedup!! and for us, it's just really not worth it.
This is to ALL of you who:-
1) continually try to beat the system
2) stick two fingers up to the community rules
3) disrespect others / our mods
4) cause no end of hassle for us and annoying quality acapella uploaders by continually uploading duplicate and frankyly, just shit acapellas. Amazing how low some ppl go just to gain 1 meezly credit it really is.
5) create duplicate accounts (hard to believe but we have seen attempts of at least 12 individual user accounts all from one person in the past).
6) think that this is YOUR site and create your own rooms for shit like instrumentals and sample packs.
Just to say that in genera,l the overall standard / feel of the site has diminished and it's not a good feeling.
As of this afternoon - I've asked bi0 to disable the uploading section and if you aren't aware new accounts have been disabled aswell.
That's about all we can be bothered to say..
