'Capture' Automation

Could not find any direct hits when briefly searching the forum on this, so quickly posting it here:

Capture is useful for obvious reasons when jamming (midi). I would really love the idea of being able to also capture parameter changes on devices and put those changes into automations - just like Capture today will make a midi-clip of the notes you were jamming.

a) How silly is the idea? b) Is there already something out there that does this (or close)?

I mean......you can just enable "Session Record Button" it records automation changes in midi as well as overdubs notes and automation changes.

he means capturing all the changes done before pressing the record button. im up for this too, would be great to have
