Multiple midi clip envelope control

Post by versuslive » Wed Dec 11, 2019 12:40 am

Hi There!

Long story short,I would like to control Operator,or other VST synth by separate midi tracks via different envelopes, but I can choose Operator or other VST device,by it's own midi track, not showing on others,You can see in the attached screenshots.
Is it any chanse to do with separate midi's also?

Thank You!

Not sure what you are asking, but try putting the VST on one track, then selecting that track as the output for the other MIDI tracks.

I Would like to use one instrument or synth with different length or time signature midi clips with random follow action in separate tracks in this way I can make some kind of semi-random playing mode.

I can remote envelope via virtual midi cable and with CC messages but there are some midi jitter in the timing in this way.
I just hoped there is an easier or convinient way to do this inside Ableton not with third party program.

Interesting I can send midi notes from multiple channels to one synth, but I cannot control the other parameters via envelopes, don't really understand why is it missing in Ableton,
