Hi,
Is there a way to map a MIDI note to select the next track in a set?
I have a foot controller and want to tap one of the switches to select the next
track.
Right now I can see that I can map a MIDI note from my foot switch to select a specific
track. In the MIDI map it looks like:
Note/control Path Name Min Max
C3 1-Audio Select Track
Is there way to maybe make the path global and set the name to something like "Select next track"?
I think my foot controller might have multiple banks but I've only got 10 switches in total and it
is really limiting to have to assign half my buttons to select track 1, track 2, and so on. It would be easier
if I could just set one button to select next track.
Is this something I can do in Ableton and maybe I'm missing something?
Thanks!

Re: MIDI map to select next track?
There isn't a Next Track button available within Live so you have some options....
BOMES - MIDI Translator to interpret your button presses and turn them into keys strokes for left and right, it'll work but it depends on what you have in focus so if you've selected a device on a track it'll move left and right selecting new devices
ClyphX PRO - Using the LEFT or RIGHT action triggered via MIDI will move around Session or Arrangement view as desired.
Cheers
