Removing the excess on a clip...

Hello all,

I know there is a great answer to this question!

I am in sessions view and have a long clip that I have selected a small potion with the right and left markers. How do I remove the parts of the clip on the left and right that I am not using? They are getting in the way and I have no need of revisiting them. Thank you!!!!!

drag the clip into the arrangement view and do a consolidate, then drag back to session
