HELP - programming MIDI instruments

Post by Noodles_ » Sun Feb 23, 2020 5:30 am

I have a few MIDI controllers that I have set as different inputs for different sounds. What I'm hoping to do is have my small 25 key keypad be chained to two instruments on an instrument rack as a bass. But my issue is I want to have instrument #1 playing a C3 and instrument #2 playing a C2 - while pressing the same key. That means I need to set instrument #2 to play an octave higher... but how? Key mapping does not appear to be useful here.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

In the devices browser, drag a MIDI Pitch device into the chain which needs to play a different octave. Set the pitch offset.
