continuous recording in arrangement while recording loops in session

Post by TommyPGunn » Sat Mar 07, 2020 3:49 am

Just wondering if anyone can help me here - I'm recording using the push, and for one scene I'm manually sequencing a hihat part so I'm using the Push record button to bang out a two-bar loop. The whole track also has live drums playing along simultaneously, and I'm trying to record it. The issue is that when I start using the Push record butting it's deactivating the live drum tracks which are being recorded at the same time - does anyone know a way around this?
Getting a little desperate!
Thanks!

You can remove the stop buttons from Clip Slots you don't want them to trigger stop.

But a single track can only play one clip at a time.

Thankyou for the reply - so you're saying that if I remove all the stop clip buttons in the tracks which are recording the live drums, hitting record on the push (to record a loop in a MIDI track) won't stop them recording?
Thanks for your patience!
