AUTOMATION CHANGES ITSELF WHILE RECORDING

Just noticed this extremely annoying and unacceptable problem for this over priced software...

When recording to add automation to a lane that has previous automation added to it (like earlier in the timeline) the automation will jump around BY ITSELF...

I've seen automation lanes I am recording in real time by turning knobs on the Push hop back to zero randomly... OH MY GOD... WHY????????????

Please tell me someone knows the answer because I don't open Ableton to have to fight with poorly made software.
