Locking Tracks as Armed

Hi!

I'm using Ableton for a recorded live performance and I use "Arm Exclusive" so that the same midi trigger will arm one track will disarming the others. Even after the tracks are disarmed, loops from those disarmed tracks continue to play and I'm also recording the output of those tracks into separate tracks. The problem is that I need those muted "record" tracks to stay armed while I "arm exclusive" the tracks for real-time performance. Is this possible?? Help?!

Did you try shift+click the arm button ?
Also, do you have max for live ? I made a device called « local exclusive arm ».

Yes, I just purchased Max. How would I create this device?
