A simple request -
It should be easy to 'parameter lock' (I know, this must get requested all the time) a given parameter just by pressing and holding any given clip in the session view and changing the parameter via an encoder. I'd like to be able to set different effects presets/ snapshots for each clip, from the Push2 interface.
This way it would be possible to set up very different sets of parameters for devices PER CLIP.
Instead, to be set via the push, the automation has to recorded in manually.
It is much easier just to inset a breakpoint in the sample editor envelope to create the same effect.
Surely it would be incredibly easy to program Push2 to record a single breakpoint value? Maybe holding the Automation button whilst adjusting a parameter sets a default for the selected clip?
I get the impression there are many small things like this that have been requested for years for Push2 but not implemented, so I'm not too hopeful.
I've just bought one, and it seems there are some glaring holes in what it is capable of. I love it for what it is though.
