Akai MPK261 "LiveLite" preset doing some weird note remapping? (SOLVED)

I just picked up an MPK261 used on Reverb (very good shape) to consolidate my keys/pads. I've gotten it fired up and and am having some very unusual mapping problems. Only on the LiveLite preset (and only on one "slice to MIDI" track), it has remapped my keys such that B4 lands on C#6. C5 lands on D6. However, transposing the keys up an octave doesn't result in this behavior, and like I said, switching to the other DAW presets results in normal behavior. I'm at a loss. Should I assume this is a unit fault? The Akai forum is invite-based, and the MPC-forum is seemingly dead.

EDIT: This preset included a zone split at that key. Why, who could say?
