Anyone had luck controlling MPK261 presets via Live?

Looking to hopefully trigger the sysex commands to switch presets on my MPK. Tried outputting midi to Sysex Librarian, which doesn’t seem to talk back to my controller despite having caught the Sysex dump from the keyboard. I’ve posted this in Max For Live forum also, but it’s a little quiet over there. I have no idea how to use Max, but I would gladly take any info regarding that route or any other to get the job done.
