Copying time signature changes in Arrangement

Post by Shakamaka » Fri Apr 24, 2020 7:06 pm

Hello all !
I know the question has already been asked and answered but I have a specific demand that the other topics did not adress.
So, I did what they said in the other topics : I looped the time zone and I copied/pasted it. The problem is it doesn't copy it perfectly.
I want to copy a sequence in 7/8 that I cut in 2 + 2 + 3 (because that's how I play it live) but when I paste it it gives me a 3 + 1 + 3 sequence !
Does anyone know if there's a way to copy the time changes exactly like I put it in the beginning ?
Thank you :)

if youre working with 7/8 and want e.g 2+2+3 arrangement looping over you can simply create the project in 2/8. Add a time signature change of 2/8 in the start of the loop in the arrangement, add another 2/8 locator/ time signature change after 2 eighths(beats), then add a 3/8 time signature change locator and then select the whole arrangement 2/8+2/8+3/8 and Ctrl(Cmd)+Shift+D or Duplicate Time for whatever lenght you want. You ll get metronome and arpeggiators syncing perfectly. hope that helps
