Audio Crackling issues

Hi,

So i have a problem with audio crackling and popping in Ableton live, 'i'm a mastering engineer and i first noticed the pops coming out of the masters i was recording, i investigated further and it also happens on playback and sometimes when you click to change mixer channel it makes a pop in session view

I've tried it at all buffer sizes and sample rates and its still the same, i'm using a lynx hilo ad/da .
I upgraded to 10 last week thinking maybe live 9...... whatever it was, wasn't liking the new windows updates, but its actually worse in 10

Even in 10 when i simulate 1% cpu usage with the test tone its popping and cracking like crazy.
I've tried my other Benchmark dac and it has zero problem so i though it must be my lynx hilo, but then i also tried running Reaper DAW with the hilo and had no pops and crackles at all.

All my drivers and motherboard bios are up to date.

I recently changed my hardware from intel to amd but it was fine for a few weeks after the hardware change.

specs are

ryzen 5 3600
16 gb 3200mhz
1 tb nvme ssd

any ideas?
