Best way to mute all but one track

What is the best way to automate 'mute all tracks except one' (or solo one track) when you have a large number of tracks and multiple groups within groups etc.? If I make one large group of all tracks just for this, it takes up a third of my screen. Individually bussing each main group track is an option but is there is something more simple that I am missing?

Hitting the solo button in Ableton’s mixer should do it.
