Serious Mixer to make Live good for mixing
Serious Mixer to make Live good for mixing
Ableton team should definitely take Session view and put it next to Arrangement view on the same page (as Logic or Bitwig did) and give as serious Mixing console because higher number of tracks in growing project in the Ableton Live introduces a mess that completely kills the mixing workflow.

Exactly, they could add a third view button near the current mixer view / arrange view in the top right corner. In 2020 they could take inspiration from Cubase or Studio one too. C'mon guys, it would be a dream!
Re: Serious Mixer to make Live good for mixing
I'm not sure if anything really needs to be added to the mixer itself but the following would be nice.
1. Track Inspector area.
2. Ability to view Session Mixer in ArrangeView.
3. Increase the number of Sends/Return tracks.
That would pretty much do it for me.

Try using ctrl+Shift+W or use the menu option to open a second window. Size and Position the arrangement view window next to the (Sized and Positioned) session view window. Drag and drop at will.
This has been in Live since version 9.1, works great.
