Just upgraded to Live 10. I have an APC40 MkII controller and the track/clip colours are really strange in this version. The colour palette has changed to a more subtle version, which looks somewhat different on screen, but REALLY different on my APC. What used to be solid/maxxed out colours, red/green etc, now look washed out and pastel on the APC. As much as that might be an aesthetic decision it's really awful from a practical angle, esp under stage lighting. I have my projects set up with colour coding, Kick = Red, Bass = Orange, Percussion = Cyan etc so that when playing live I can tell clearly what is what when I'm triggering clips and working the faders. What is important, perhaps more than the colours, is the contrast between different tracks. Making everything low contrast and pastel shaded really messes that up.
So, my feature request is that I want to be able to customise the clip/track palette myself (or at least be able to revert to the older palette like I can pick a different skin) AND have those colours accurately reflected on the APC40 MkII. I know from previous versions that Live and the APC can actually do this. I get that you might want to change the palette colours for aesthetic reasons, but I want to be able to set my own colours for practical reasons.
I think from an accessibility point of view as well, being able to use a custom palette will be really welcome.
