No Pitch Change Transpose

Hi, I'm doing the beginner's introduction to Ableton Live 10, and I'm on pg. 7 out of 11 of the first tutorial. In the "Sample" box of the "Wavetable Pads" I turn the Transpose knob and no change in pitch seems to be happening; no changes are happening altogether. Any help would be appreciated.

Press the triangle on the Wavetable audio clip and make sure it is green colored to indicate it is playing. The tutorial says double-click it, however, if you had double-clicked the center of the pad then it selects it without actually playing. Which is probably why your not hearing anything since you are changing parameters of a clip that isn't playing.
