I understand that many synths accommodate these kinds of tunings, but many which I am using do not.
What I'm looking for, without much success, is whether there are either .adv files similar to what you find in Live as scale presets, OR any Max for Live devices, which can force these kinds of scales (19-tone ET, 24-tone ET, 31-tone ET, etc)??? As far as I can tell, something like ScaleOMat 4 doesn't accomplish this ...
Many thanks!

This might be closer to what you are looking for.

Bear in mind that with more than 12 divisions in an octave the MIDI keyboard no longer works "normally"
This is an interesting link too

You are about to go down the MIDI rabbit hole, have fun!

Re: QUARTERTONES & OTHER EQUAL TEMPERED TUNINGS
this is not a rabbit hole for me.
just looking for solutions.
i studied with easley blackwood many years ago, and understand the math and the calculus.
i'm not using a keyboard, so i don;t need that solution.
thanks so much
