Anyone experienced this strange behaviour??

Post by Mbazzy » Mon Jan 27, 2003 9:41 am

Had following strange behaviour of Live 2.0.1 that unfortunately i don't seem to be able to reproduce.

On track 7 [might have happened on another track as well??] I had inserted at one point an autofilter and vinyl efx [both Ableton efx] ... not happy with the result I deleted the plugins ...

Now what happened is that for some strange reason the autofilter efx kept being applied to that track allthough no efx was there anymore ...

I know there is a bug in autofilter, but does this apply to this ?

hmm, this sounds pretty strange to me. what drugs did you take when you got this behaviour ? i want them !!!

( no , i cannot help you with this bug. we are in process of fixing a few other ones, eventually they are related and you will never get it again. i cannot give you a release date for the bug fix version, but it will be online pretty soon )

regards , robert

Thanx Robert ... it eventually took me half a day of playing with EQ's , reverbs and compressors to realize that the muddy mixdown wasn't because of "me" ... than it struck me and I A/B'd the same loop on the original track 7 [see above] and copied it over to another track ... BAM, big difference ...

I had eaten some mushrooms , I admit, ... the "champignon" kind ... 8)
