Tracking down a problem plugin

Post by rlauriston » Fri Nov 13, 2020 7:59 pm

I just upgraded to Live 10. On startup it crashes due to a problem plugin (works fine if I hold down Option while starting). I upgraded all my AAS, Arturia, and Native Instruments plugins to the latest versions, still crashes. How can I figure out which of my many, many plugins is the problem?

MacBook Pro 17-inch late 2011
macOS 10.13.6
Live 10.1.25

Submit the crash report to Ableton. I've had similar issues in the past where opening a project would cause Live to crash and after sending the logs to Ableton they were able to tell me it was an Eventide reverb plugin causing the issue which after I checked I found there was an update for it which solved the problem.
