When I contacted support, they said that "The browser is not suitable for a large number of files". I've never heard of such nonsense. Imagine they told you that "Windows cannot work because you have more than a 100 folders". This is so simple to fix...Instead of trying to load everything at once, how about you load a folder when I open it... Wow, super hard. Then you wouldn't have issues with a lot of files. Same with collections. Every time I save a project you guys reload the collections, my project completely freezes for 5-10 seconds (on an i7 and SSD). This is unacceptable in 2020. Every other DAW can manage this somehow. As for the search... I dont understand why you cannot run this in a background thread...Again, any search completely FREEZES the whole UI... Its like first year programmers write this software.
I was hoping for 11 and I won't buy it. I won't buy 12 either if we don't get meaningful updates. Latency calculation is still bugged, still cannot drop effects on frozen channels, still cannot have multiple masters... How long do we need to ask for these? I'm happy like after 5 years of asking we got the 16 macro update tho... Only took 5 years for you guys.
