loops made in live4 sound completely different in live5 !!!

does anyone else have the same problems that loops made in live4 sound completely different in live 5?
I have many loops used the re-pitch algo for sounddesign. the difference is really big, partial the whole rhythm is completely different. other algos also sound different, but that`s not such a big problem.

here you can download a small example liveset for L4 and a L5 liveset including the rendered L4 loops. (~1 MB)

please ableton, can i expect a fix for that soon, or have i render hundreds of re-pitch loops the next weeks...

...hmmm..played again, i have to say that there are also major problems with warping in beats mode.

i use the warpmarker for sounddesign and with live 5 it is not possible to do that.

when you stretch a bass drum over two quarters with beats mode and a quantisation of 1/32 in live 4 you get a nice long sound with a nice granular sound, in live 5 you get the same sound with crackles.

i hope this will be fixed...

I have a project I started in 4.14, all longer tracks, repitch warp selected. It was fine in 5 to start, then I ticked "delay compensation" and quit the program and realaunched and the timing of all the tracks was a total trainwreck, and I was getting some weird pops and clicks. I had to turn off delay compensation and then it was back to normal.

hi, it doesn`t matter wether latence comp. is turned on or off.

please ableton, give me feedback, i´m going crazy, I can`t use my liveset with thousand loops in live 5 anymore... i´ve sent you a zipped als.

i can´t believe that others don´t have this problem

the repitch mode is currently being fixed.
i am also interested in the beats mode deficiency you noticed,
could you send an example for that.
if so please try to make it as small as possible.

I was a big fan of unorthodox warping in Live 4--nearly every track I've saved has at least one strangely warped clip. When I open these sets in 5, I somehow lose all those carefully specified rhythms, and not just by a little bit. They are WAY off, in a random fashion. I've trashed my prefs, told Live not to auto-warp long clips, no dice.
Everything involving warp markers is acting strange--for instance, I placed a warp marker & loop in/out points around a kick drum from a 3:30 aiff in Session View & dragged it into Impulse. In 4, it's a nice tight kick. In 5 it's triggering off the mark, resulting in a wimpy little click sound. Is this familiar to anyone?
