Renaming tracks (I always delete the # by mistake)

To rename tracks, I hit command + R.

Here's the problem. Suppose you want to rename a track, "snare". You select the track, hit command + R, type "snare"... and whoops, you just deleted the # at the beginning of the track's name.

Of course, you could just hit command + R, then the right arrow key a couple times to avoid deleting the #. But I almost always forget to do that and I just delete the number by mistake. Happens at least 25% of the time I rename a track.

Is there a workaround? As in, is it possible to make command + R not hilight the number?

Just get into the habit of adding a # before the name when you type. It is really no more cumbersome than using Shift to make a capital letter. Sometimes it is desired to not have the track number such as when grouping tracks so having the ability to choose by just omitting the # is pretty simple, just remember to add it when you need a track number. Takes time to make things habit.
