Push or LP mk3 ? For a DJ point of view

Hello guys,

I am wondering what would be the best choice between push/push2/launchpad pro mk3

My target is to use it side by side my dj set such as Richie Hawtin or Dubfire or Chris Liebing ( maschine in his case )
with the release of the LP mk3 and the sequencer in it now I need a help to decide which

Drop me your input on the situation or if you have either or and would go for the other .

Get whatever suits YOU and YOUR workflow, don't try to be like anyone else. They both have their pro's and cons, but if you use Live a lot, then its Push2.

What is your reason for wanting either/or?

Push can probably do everything the LP can do but has a higher price tag and if it is just for DJ use, triggering clips, sequencing and such then the LP is probably all you need, however if you also want to design a set and use some effects or easily adjust channel volume on the fly and and have some more feedback then Push would be the way to go. Push 2 would be better than 1 these days especially so unless you are really cash strapped i'd stick between Push 2 and the LP Pro.

Think of the LP Pro as basically Push 2, without a display or encoders and see if that would fit your needs. Personally neither has motorised turntables or an x-fader so for an old school DJ like me, neither is a suitable tool for DJing which is why I personally use Serato and an NS7III.
