Running:
Ableton 11.0.5
Mac 10.15.6
Interface:
iconnect Audio 4+
I want to streamline my routing for live looping. I already created a multi-output device on my mac using my iconnect interface and blackhole (2ch). This works great when I want Ableton's output for recording a quicktime video or to use as the audio source for google meets.
But cue mixes complicate it for me. How to I route a separate cue using the multi-output? I need to ultimately route the cue through my interface, which has the physical connections. That way I can hear the click through my headphones while I stream/loop. But I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the routing in terms of where my interface ends and blackhole begins. I tried using blackhole (16ch) in a multi-output device, but even when I cycle through every output for my cue mix, mono and stereo, I can't get any cue signal to come out of my interface.
idk lol
Anyone else have experience with this problem?
Help - setting up cue mix using 'multi-output device' as output
