Can I use the LFO device to automate clip view transposition?

Post by i-made-that » Wed Sep 08, 2021 8:29 pm

I have a long melodic sample and I want to give it a vibrato effect that fades in and out at certain points. Ideally I could simply use the LFO tool to modulate Envelopes -> Clip -> Transposition but I can't figure out how (or if it's even possible).

Any suggestions for how I would implement something like this in an audio track?

Thanks!

You can't midi map it, so LFO isn't an option. You could patch a M4L device which is "directly" tied to the clip's pitch value but 8O
Your best options here are:
- draw automation/modulation for the clip
- use Chorus-Ensemble's vibrato mode (it's a new L11 feature).

Ok, yeah, I'll give this a try. I can just use regular old automation to fade the effect in and out.

Thanks for the quick fix!
