Has any one ever tested 256 channels in ableton

Has anyone ever used 256 outputs ever? I want to know how live holds up at that level.

:) Mono? Stereo? Sample Rate? Bit Depth? Buffer Size?

Unless you specify all those conditions it’s a kinda meaningless question dontcha think?

EDIT:
I did. I got 2000 instances/tracks playing of Max Cooper “Spectrum” simultaneously before I got bored and gave up.

24bit 44.1k stereo WAVs / 256 samples buffer / hardware specs in sig

Is it a real world test? Nup! Does it prove anything? I dunno, it was fun though! As the poet Solo once said:
