Moving Warped Songs
Moving Warped Songs
When moving warped songs from one hard drive to another, do the hard drive name and file folders where the songs are located have to be exactly the same in order for it stay warped? I'm about to move my song collection and just want to be sure before i do. thank you!
Re: Moving Warped Songs
Make sure their analysis file is moved along with the file itself. Without the analysis file, Live has no reference as to what the warping details are and just starts over.
I guess another thing to consider is whether you saved the warping in the Clip Properties or if the warping is a result of the Ableton Live set.
If in clip properties you hit the Save button. Then you should be good to go.
If you’ve only warped the clips but have only saved the Live set, things could be much more complicated.

So as long as I've hit the save button on the clip, and as long as I have moved the analysis file along with the .mp3, I can move to another hard drive and not have to duplicate the name of it exactly the same?
