New Ableton User, Been Starting to make Beat packs. Can't figure out how to Permanently save an audio effect to my sample when its moved into my user library.
Whenever I go to save my newly created sample or .Wav to my user library it only saves the bare clip, not the audio effect (like an EQ Eight) with the clip. Is there anyway to permanently attach said effect onto a sample?

If you want to tweak FX easily in the future:
Put a sample in Simpler, add FX you want to be there, select Simpler and FX devices, group them, name a newly created instrument rack as you wish, optionally bind parameters to rack macros for easy access, save the rack to the user library.
If you want FX to be applied to the sample permanently, just resample it and save. There is a number of ways to do that. You can find them in the manual or via google.
Another, quicker option, is doing Freeze + Flatten on a track that contains the sample. Live will make a new audio file and you can save that.

Thanks for the response!
I eventually figured it out. I cut the part of the song that I wanted, added audio effects, froze it, then consolidated it. Right clicked said sample and clicked "show in browser". Moved it to where I wanted it in my user library and boom! it's done.
Hope this thread helps other noobs in the future.
