Yep...call me Old School. I'm one of the unfortunate victims of Apple's Screw-The-PC-Users in Logic Land.
I still love my Logic 5.5.1, and I ain't budgin' dammit! (Insert crotchety photo here of me with shotgun on front porch surrounded by gear).
Here's the problem:
Ever since Live 4, I cannot succesfully use Logic as a Rewire Master. Every time I boot Ableton (after Logic of course) it says that another Rewire Master has been detected and you won't be able to use Live blah blah blah. And sure enough, when it boots up it says "No Audio is selected." It won't let you select your audio interface (because Logic has it), and essentially the Rewire bridge is non-existant.
Does anyone have an answer here?
I suspect that the Abletons stopped (with Live 4 and now 5) doing the coding that would work with this now-defunct version of Logic. But I'm just guessing.
Either way...I NEED it to work...I've got about 50 songs in Ableton that need to be dumped into and finished in my preferred app, Logic. So what's the scoop guys...did you dump me too?
Anyone else with this problem?
