Workaround to map two controls to one parameter?
I’m currently using a M4L device to to modulate the decay of a hi hat macro control in a drum rack. But I also want to be able to turn off/down the M4L device and adjust the decay manually, and/or as an offset. I’m doing this all with a midi controller so can’t unmap the M4L device. In Live a control can only be mapped to one parented. Is there a workaround?

Hi @CountDooku,
Sources from K-Devices could do the job.
If you want a free one, have a look to this M4L device.
I think this is what you need. Let me know !

In the "MaxForLive Essentials" Pack, there's a device called "XY Pad".
It lets you map X and Y to any parameter; the trick is that the mapped parameter is taken over only when X/Y is moving (and you can midi map the X/Y value too).
Hopefully this would do the job for you.
