why is there no Ping?
ctrl + left/right = select transient
ctrl + shift + left/right = select between transients
ctrl + space = play selection

Jokes aside, would be good if Ableton catch up with this basic facility.

what is this 'basic functionality'? I've been recording music for decades, and have never heard of 'ping'.
