Somewhere in the FAQ on ableton's website, there is a tip about creating a file called options.txt, and disabling rewire master this way. Don't remember about the details, but you should find it. Otherwise, do a research on that forum with options.txt or option.txt. It's been covered.

I believe the file is called "options.txt", and you can specify the following rewire options inside of it:

ReWireChannels
ReWireLogic
ReWireMasterOff
ReWireMasterBufferSize
ReWireSlaveOff
ReWireSonar
