Push 2 and simpler help please

hi mates,
got myself a push 2 -and wanted it for mainly sampling from vinyl and the web.
i recorded something from youtube which recorded fine, went to convert to simpler and all that comes up is multisample mode and no waveform, so i basically cannot chop and edit the sample.
i watched a few tuts on youtube and after they hit convert to simpler the waveform appears, the waveform doesn't appear when i hit the convert to simpler it says multisample mode?
any advice from fellow push 2 users would be so much appreciated.

Solved by deleting User Library > Defaults > Dropping Samples > On Device View > Simpler.adv
