But she told reporters Monday that she wasn't sitting still, and pointed to her support of a provision in the recently passed energy bill that provided incentives to develop technologies to reduce greenhouse gas production.

), but what the senator is basically saying is that there's no proof that humans have caused global warming... which really isn't yet. Of course, the irony is that we might not know of this proof until it's too late, but that still doesn't necessarily justify acting without evidence to support it.
