Push2 muting tracks while recording a clip

Hi!

I really like the mixer mode on my Push 2. I do struggle with using mutes. One has to select a track to mute/unmute. This has the annoying consequence that a recording clip on another track stops recording. I've searched the forum, but didn't find a solution for this behavior.

Is there a workaround?

Deactivate "select on launch" option in the record/warp/launch preferences?
