Uploading to push fail
Uploading to push fail
I have been trying how to move the projects from my pc to ableton push 3 standalone, and I have not been able to do it.
I always get UPLOADING TO PUSH FAIL, I have only managed to upload a small project to push 3, but, I have not been able to get the instruments that are native to ableton, such as the grand piano, basic things.
What am I doing wrong? I looked in the manual and there is no reference to any error when uploading the project. I have tried freezing the projects, I have tried Collected all and save. I have tried dragging from the ableton folder to the push folder. I have tried dragging from the windows folder, to the push folder in ableton. and nothing seems to work.
If you can tell me what I am doing wrong it would be a great help. Thanks a lot+
BTW the project i wanna upload are about 11gb

Re: UPLOADING TO PUSH FAIL
I'm having the same problem. It worked a few times, but kits weren't loading because I used special characters in the names, so I renamed everything and have tries several times and it fails every time. I am on a different wifi network, so that might be the problem. I restarted, both, I have even tried to load samples separately. no luck.
Re: UPLOADING TO PUSH FAIL
What do you mean? Your Push and your computer are going through different WIFI, is that it?

I have a similar problem.
Transferring sets to push with Live 12 didn’t work for me - could never connect to the push. So I have live 11 installed too, which I purely use for transferring to the Push.
Haven’t tried connecting from Live 12 for about 3 months. Maybe they’ve since fixed it. Very poor, but at least there’s a workaround

I didn’t actually - lazy of me I know, but I’m currently dealing with a defective jog wheel (need to push really hard to the right). To be fair, Ableton support are being very supportive and helpful in rectifying.[jur] wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2024 8:37 pmDid you ever report to Support?writetomichael wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2024 7:21 pmI have a similar problem.

Are you sure the jogwheel is installed properly, i.e flush/parallel to the top cover and/or other encoders?writetomichael wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2024 8:26 amI didn’t actually - lazy of me I know, but I’m currently dealing with a defective jog wheel (need to push really hard to the right)
You can check this easily by looking at Push from the side, at eyes level. If the top of the jogwheel isn't parallel you'll see it instantly.
I've seen a unit with a non-flush/parallel jogwheel out of the box and it made the jog very hard to turn.
After applying some good pressure (carefully of course!) on the jog, it clicked into the position it was supposed to be and that fixed the issue.
Of course, no need to try this and take risks if it's properly installed.

Unfortunately in my case the mechanism was defective and Ableton are going to replace the push. Their customer support has been excellent.
