I saw a guy on YouTube live performing Chris Isaacs wicked games, he's using a push and playing guitar. Pretty cool, he creates the 4 bar melody (BM - A - E - E) then he creates the drums on Nother track, then he keys in the bass on another track, and then another track for some chord strums to accompany the chord melody. So far so good, Ive managed to replicate the steps so far, now here is where I get stuck, before the next bar comes in, he uses the scene launch /stop button below to stop all the elements, and he quickly selects the first track, (chord melody) so that continues to play, he then procedes to use the guitar to mimick the vocals, his last track remains armed. When I try to copy this action my armed track switches to the first track, where as the other guys does not. It's really racking my brains. I will link the video below

The action I am talking about happens just after one minute mark, could some one please explain how he manages to keep the last track armed when he takes the drums and bass out please.
