1. How can I record the next clip on the same track in session view while the current clip keeps playing? I know that if I remove the stop button from a clip it can play together with other clips on that track but when I go to record it shuts off all the other clips on the track.
2. Maybe I am approaching this wrong but thought to build up my song by adding clips to my instrument tracks, guitar, drums, bass etc. Is the correct way to do this by adding multiple guitar, drum and bass tracks? I thought it would be better to have one lead guitar track with multiple clips and I have the option to record while hearing some of the other clips. Maybe the point is that each clip should be a different independent idea so its only one at a time? Can someone help clarify this?
