Ableton Live Digidesign Edition

I have just installed Live Digi design edition with a Digi design M Box on my mac G4 - Wen I start Live it says that the M box is of even tough is on and connected trough usb -So no sound is coming out - I also tried to select M box in the audio preference but still it says that the audio engine is off -
If I start Pro tools it works well trough the Mbox.....any one can help ?

Hi riccardo nova,

which is the version number of the Live Difidesign Edition you have?
And on which operating system (10.2.x, 10.3.x or 10.4.x) do you use it?

I think live digi edition can only be used as an instrument 'plugin' in protools...not as standalone. I believe the same goes for Reason Adapted

not at all, they both are fully functionnal as standalone products.
There's a tool in the digi folder called digi enabler or something like that(can't remember exactly), where you have to enable which program can use the digi core audio driver...(I don't have an Mbox anymore, so i can't remember exactly)

I have Live 2.1
and my operative system is a Mac OS X version 10.3.9

On the same computer in another hard disk partition I have also Mac OS 9
which I use with Digi 01

I have installed also Live for Mac OS 9 in the other partition and there is exactly the same problem.

I have also tried to unconnect the Digi 01 from the computer....but nothing change....Live and the M Box are not seeing each other....

The strange thing is that if I open pro tools it works fine with the M Box, but wen I start Live also if I choose "M Box " in the Audio preference it says "Audio engine is off. Please choose an audio device from the audio preference"-
My M box is well connected directly to the computer trough USB cable and of course is not off, the prove is that pro tools recognise it with no problem.....the only problem is with Live.....
