browsing presets of third party plugins from hardware
Are there VST/AU plugins whose presets can be browsed on the Push 3 (non-standalone)? Why aren't more plugin companies making their plugins more compatible by allowing you to browse presets from the push hardware?
Re: browsing presets of third party plugins from hardware
The workaround is to save your VST/AU presets in instrument racks.

That is great!
Was thinking not so good for preset packs but actually I can save patches I like from a preset pack 1 by 1 to instrument rack presets too. Bit of a chore but not terrible.
Still would just be so handy if companies would do this for me
I think they can do this, this is from a page about the push 1-2:
"Once a plug-in is loaded, Hotswap mode will allow browsing presets, provided they are exposed to Live."
That would be so dreamy for them to do this
Shit, I just found out you don't need to put them in an instrument rack, you can just save a preset as is.

That's right. The bonus with racks is that you have macros ready to access, but that's an extra step to map indeed. Plus I'm not sure it'll always work depending on the plugin's format and the OS, but maybe I'm wrong about this.minimaltom wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 10:53 pmShit, I just found out you don't need to put them in an instrument rack, you can just save a preset as is.
