Ah update!: The macros etc dont disappear if you select the simpler itself rather than the drum rack cell before you press swap but then it still goes to a device menu rather than the sample folder that the current sample is from, that is a shame.
Another update: altho it does go to the folder after youve swapped it one time! So it seems if you populate the drum rack on the push youre all good, if you do it in the software no, I wonder why that is?
I've figured it out, I was using samplers as apposed to samplers in my rack. I did this so I could create zones so that I could flip through samples with a knob but that wouldnt be needed if I can hot swap a sample in a simpler
My go I realised I dont even need sampler to do select zones either christ!
Update: No actually, if you populate a drum rack in the software then hot swap the sample on the push it still goes to choose device menu instead of change sample within folder so my original complaint stands!!!
