hot swaping samples in drum rack

I don't know if this has been talked about before but when I hot swap a cell in the drum rack it swaps the simpler itself (for a different instrument) whereas I would like it to hot swap the sample within simpler instead, like when you press the hot swap button within simpler's gui so that it will go to the folder in which the sample is contained. Is there a button combination or something that would do this?

It also means that any macros or effects that are applied to the drum rack cell are lost too.

Ah update!: The macros etc dont disappear if you select the simpler itself rather than the drum rack cell before you press swap but then it still goes to a device menu rather than the sample folder that the current sample is from, that is a shame.

Another update: altho it does go to the folder after youve swapped it one time! So it seems if you populate the drum rack on the push youre all good, if you do it in the software no, I wonder why that is?

I've figured it out, I was using samplers as apposed to samplers in my rack. I did this so I could create zones so that I could flip through samples with a knob but that wouldnt be needed if I can hot swap a sample in a simpler

My go I realised I dont even need sampler to do select zones either christ! You can do zone stuff on the chain part of the rack itself.


Update: No actually, if you populate a drum rack in the software then hot swap the sample on the push it still goes to choose device menu instead of change sample within folder so my original complaint stands!!!

So to rephrase:

I think there is a kind of bug, when you swap a sample on the drum rack it goes to the simpler preset menu rather than the folder that the current sample is contained in. That is unless youve populated the drum rack on the push itself, in that case it DOES browse to the folder the current sample is in, but not if youve populated in within the software first.

some other weird behaviour, when you hot swap a sample/in a simpler/in a drum rack on the software the macro remain mapped where you mapped them, when you do it on the hardware the mapping disappears and the knob becomes greyed out
